Acceptable Use Policy

Version 1.6 · Effective July 16, 2026 · GigaNode Technologies Private Limited (CIN U62099UP2024PTC208021)

This policy defines conduct that is prohibited on GigaNodes infrastructure. We operate a zero-tolerance regime for the activities listed below.

3.1 Prohibited Usage — Zero Tolerance

The following activities result in immediate action:

  • Network interference — launching DDoS attacks, port scanning, IP spoofing, ARP poisoning, or any activity that disrupts networks or hosts.
  • Cryptocurrency mining — running Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum, or any other miners on VPS or shared environments.
  • Anonymization abuse — operating public TOR exit nodes, open proxies, or VPN services used for malicious purposes.
  • Malicious content — hosting or distributing malware, ransomware, botnet command-and-control infrastructure, or phishing pages.
  • Intellectual property infringement — hosting material that violates patents, trademarks, copyrights, or trade secrets.
  • Illegal content or activity — anything unlawful under Indian law or the law of the service location.
  • Spam and fraud — bulk unsolicited mail, phishing, or fraudulent schemes of any kind.

3.2 Minecraft Proxy Hosting

Minecraft proxy software (BungeeCord, Velocity, Waterfall, or equivalent) hosted on GigaNodes infrastructure must forward exclusively to backend and lobby servers that are also hosted on GigaNodes. Using a GigaNodes-hosted proxy solely to route players to a backend server hosted with a third-party provider, on a home connection, or on any infrastructure outside our network is not permitted.

This restriction exists so we can properly diagnose performance, connectivity, and DDoS issues end-to-end. Proxy-only deployments that point at an external backend may be suspended without notice.

3.3 Fair Use and Resource Throttling

“Unlimited” and “unmetered” marketing terms are subject to fair use. The Company may throttle workloads that sustain CPU usage above 80% or abusive disk I/O for more than two (2) continuous hours where they degrade service for other subscribers. Dedicated and VDS products with reserved resources are exempt from CPU-share throttling.

3.4 Consequences of Violation

The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate offending services immediately and without refund, and to cooperate with law enforcement, including preservation and disclosure of logs where lawfully required.

Reporting Violations

Report abuse to support@giganodes.host or via a support ticket. Include timestamps, IPs, and evidence where possible.
